Lengthy Aguero injury sets City back

Britain Soccer Premier League AP The calf injury that caused Sergio Aguero to leave Manchester City’s 6-3 win over Arsenal in the 49th minute is going to keep him out for “at least a month” with some reports suggesting his absence could reach six weeks.
Aguero was in fine form, with 12 goals in his last 11 matches including a tally to open Saturday’s Gunner-trouncing at the Etihad Stadium.
The injury will be a great cause of concern for manager Manuel Pellegrini, who has watched his club overcome poor road form to sit just three points back of first-place Arsenal.
If the injury costs Aguero just one month, he’ll miss Premier League matches against Fulham, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Swansea City and Newcastle United in addition to a Capital One Cup tie at Leicester City and an FA Cup match at Blackburn.
City will turn to Edin Dzeko and/or Stevan Jovetic in the hopes of replicating Aguero’s prolific partnership with Alvaro Negredo.
