Weather woes keeping Raptors in Miami extra day

MIAMI (AP) -- The Toronto Raptors found a way to deal with the snow and extreme cold in the Midwest.
They'll be spending some extra time in balmy South Florida.
Instead of departing for Indianapolis after losing 102-97 to the Heat on Sunday night, the Raptors were staying in Miami. Team officials planned to practice in Miami, then amended that and were to fly to Indianapolis around midday Monday.
Toronto visits the Pacers on Tuesday night.
"It's no difference to us," the Raptors' DeMar DeRozan said. "We understand we have to prepare for Indiana either way (Monday), either if we were here or there. We understand what's up. It really doesn't matter."
Dozens of flights into and out of Indianapolis were canceled on Sunday and travel schedules also are expected to be affected on Monday. Forecasters said up to 4 inches of snow could fall in Indianapolis overnight as well.
And there's this: Monday's expected high - yes, the high - in Indy is forecast to be minus 11 degrees, the National Weather Service said. Miami's expected high: 83.
