Just as the 1983 and 1999 NFL Drafts are remembered as "years of the quarterback" the 2014 season will go down in league history as "the year of the wide receiver."
Seven of this year's rookies, Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, Brandin Cooks, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews have emerged as impact players on their team's.
Still, just because these receivers have made notable starts to their careers doesn't mean they're on the fast track to the Hall of Fame. There are plenty of receivers enshrined who had undistinguished rookie seasons.
