Predicting the Patriots Final Team, Player Stats & Score in SB 49

It is finally here at last, Super Bowl Sunday has arrived drawing to conclusion what has been an amazing 2014 NFL season. In a season where your typical stars and teams shined, such as the Patriots with Tom Brady, the Broncos with Peyton Manning and the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks behind a strong defense, the Super Bowl welcomes two of the dominant teams the past two seasons to do battle.

Super Bowl 49 matches the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, in what is expected to be a great Super Bowl. I am cautious in promising a great Super Bowl after how disappointing last year’s Super Bowl was between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

So, after two weeks of analyzing and breaking down this Super Bowl 49 matchup it is time to make some predictions. I am going to go about this a little different and focus on each team individually, rather than doing your typical game preview.

I am going to not only predict who I think will win the Super Bowl, but I am going to try my hand at predicting some game stats in Super Bowl 49. I feel predicting game stats, such as passing, rushing and total yards, will give the fans an idea of what type of game we will see on Sunday.

First, let’s take a look at the Patriots’ offense and what to expect from them on Sunday. They will face a Seattle defense that very well may be one of the best of all-time after how they have performed the past two seasons. New England will have to produce some offense and not be vanilla like the Broncos were last year.

Here are the stats I foresee unfolding in Super Bowl 49 for the New England Patriots.

Tom Brady- 27-41 passing for 210 passing yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Patriots’ running back LeGarrette Blount- 21 rushes for 97 rushing yards with one rushing touchdown.

Patriots’ tight end Rob Gronkowski- 7 receptions for 105 receiving yards with one touchdown.

I believe the Patriots’ big three of Brady, Blount and Gronkowski will live up to their names and perform when New England needs them the most.

I predict the Patriots will score 30 points in Super Bowl 49, but how will the defense hold up against an underrated Seahawks’ offense at times?

Patriots’ defensive predictions for Super Bowl 49.

Patriots total team tackles 38

Patriots total team sacks three

Patriots total tackles for loss five

Patriots two interceptions

Patriots total points allowed, 21

So, I have the Patriots’ defense rising to the occasion and finding a way to slow down the Seahawks’ offense in Super Bowl 49. I believe the Patriots will find a way to overcome all of the drama the past two weeks involving deflate gate and find a way to capture their fourth Super Bowl title since the 2001 season.

My Super Bowl 49 final score prediction is the New England Patriots 30 and the Seattle Seahawks 21. Tom Brady wins Super Bowl number four and the Seahawks are denied back to back Super Bowl crowns. The national holiday of football, otherwise known as Super Bowl Sunday, is finally here and as fans I think we can all agree that the one thing we want more than anything is a classic. Enjoy the day and may your Super Bowl Sunday be joyous.
