The Top Five Prospects For The Seattle Seahawks

5.) P.J. Williams - CB   Florida State

With Byron Maxwell expected to leave, the Seahawks are in need of a big, physical corner to start opposite of Richard Sherman. P.J. Williams, at 6-foot and 194 pounds, fits the bill. Williams is very physical at the line of scrimmage and is able to carry receivers down the field. Some downside for Williams is that he was too physical and far too inconsistent in college, both of which can be fixed with a good coaching staff.

4.) Kevin Johnson - CB   Wake Forest

Kevin Johnson, the third or fourth corner on most boards, is seen as a borderline first-round pick, which would allow the Seahawks to snatch him up at 31. He has good length, cover skills, and athleticism, but his frame, at 188 pounds, raises some concern. If he is able to bulk up, he could prove to be a steal at the bottom of the first.

3.) Devin Funchess - WR   Michigan

After running just a 4.7 in the 40 and failing to impress in the other workouts, Devin Funchess' stock has dropped quite a bit. Many teams are contemplating a switch to tight end for Funchess, with the Seahawks likely being one of them. They are in need of a big-bodied receiver outside, but they also lack a pass-catching threat at tight end. It is possible that Funchess could switch between the two roles for them, which could make this offense very dangerous.

2.) Jaelen Strong - WR   Arizona State

Jaelen Strong has good size and great hands for a receiver, but many questioned his speed prior to the combine. After running a 4.44 40, few now question it. He would give the Seahawks that big-bodied receiver they so much needed last year. Strong has the strength, size, and vertical ability to make contested catches, allowing Russell Wilson to have some sort of safety net.

1.) Dorial Green-Beckham - WR   Oklahoma

At 6-foot-5 and 237 pounds, Dorial Green-Beckham is among the biggest receivers to come out of college in recent years, and among those he is the most athletic, running a 4.49 40. Green-Beckham is very raw and has had plenty of off-the-field issues, but the Seahawks are a team that can win games without an impact from him right away, which would him to mature both on and off the field.
