Denver Broncos: Top 3 Free Agents To Target This Offseason
It’s hard to find fault with the offensive output of the Denver Broncos this season. But when you’re a team that has arguably one of the five best quarterbacks to put on a uniform and he goes out the past two post seasons and stinks up the joint, there may be reason for concern.
Add that to the fact that the Broncos had a major shakeup in their coaching staff, parting ways with their head coach (John Fox), then watching their defensive coordinator (Jack Del Rio) become head coach of their bitter rivals the Oakland Raiders (seems like we have heard this before) and then see the team’s offensive coordinator follow John Fox to Chicago, and Denver may be a team in decline next season.
The Broncos went old school and brought Gary Kubiak to run the team and then signed Rick Dennison to run the defense. I guess what is old – including Manning – is new again in Denver.
The Broncos will need to address offensive issues in free agency as well as try to shore up the defense that may have some defections because of expired contracts. Team president John Elway has his work cut out for himself and this franchise in 2015.
Here is a look at three free agents (other than their own) they should look to add to the roster.
