Pittsburgh Steelers: Three New Year's Resolutions For 2015

The beginning of the new year is the time to take a look in the mirror and realize that, although 2014 was better than previous years, it doesn't excuse you from being soft in the middle and working as the second-shift assistant associate manager of biscuit prep at Red Lobster. Sure, that's acceptable for the guy down the road who spent most of his youth in a juvenile detention center. Expectations for him were never high.

But, for you, the bar is set higher. After all, you recently watched several TED Talks videos on leadership. Your lineage, education and, quite frankly, your wife, demand better.

Such is the situation with the Pittsburgh Steelers going into 2015. Yes, the 2014 season was better than the previous two, but this isn't the Oakland Raiders that we are talking about, whose fan base would take 11-5 in a heartbeat and would sell its "Black Hole" for a division title.

No, that doesn't cut it for Steelers fans. Like your wife, they command excellence. And for the Steelers to shed the flab and take it to Red Lobster general manager-level in 2015, they must stick to the following three New Year's resolutions.
