5 Offensive Linemen The Dolphins Need To Target

If you do not think the offensive line will be the biggest need addressed in both free agency and the NFL Draft for the Miami Dolphins, guess again.
After this past season and the fiasco at the position both on and off the field, it is possible that team head coach Joe Philbin and general manager Jeff Ireland will receive an edict from management stating the issue might be fixed or heads could roll.
This is no joke as the offensive line was he biggest problem on the field - leading to a stagnant running game and quarterback Ryan Tannehill being the most sacked quarterback in the league this season. Opposing defenses salivated at the idea of rushing the passer when they saw Miami was next up on the schedule.
The only position that is not in question is center, but if the team takes a look at Alex Mack, could that mean Mike Pouncey could move to guard, where he worked for some time in the preseason?
Here is a look at five players the Dolphins should keep on their radar.
Taylor Lewan
The massive tackle from Michigan could be available when the Dolphins make their pick at No. 19.

The Dolphins let Jake Long walk in free agency last season. The team cannot make the same mistake and let another Michigan alum slip through their fingers.

Branden Albert
The Dolphins could have had Albert last free agency period, but a deal could not be worked out.

Albert can play both tackle and guard and would provide must needed intensity on this line.

He could replace Tyson Clabo on the roster.

If you seek a high effort, low cost player, then Bradfield might be a steal for this team.

Bradfield was on the right side of the Jaguars' line, replacing Luke Joeckel, who moved to the left side of the line until Joeckel was hurt.

He then moves to the left side of the line and filled in well.

He is the depth you want on this team.

He has some miles on him, but the tackle from Carolina is as solid as they come.

While the Panthers might lock him up immediately, if he tests the market, Miami will be right their in the bidding for him.

There is irony here in that if the Dolphins look to sign him, he could be blocking for Maurice Jones-Drew next season.

There is still plenty of value in Monroe, who could come cheap to the Dolphins if they are a serious player to obtain his services.
