Football Nation's "Monday Morning Huddle": Division Showdown Week
Football Nation presents its 26th episode in season three of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. On today's show, Holcomb focuses in on the division showdowns that occurred around the league on Sunday. The episode starts where Sunday ended, with the Cowboys picking up a much-needed victory over the Eagles, 38-27. Dallas jumped out to a, 21-0, lead only to allow the next 24 points, and then dominate the remaining 20 minutes after that. Also a leading story, for a second straight week, the Buffalo Bills shutdown a MVP candidate quarterback. In Week 15, Buffalo allowed Aaron Rodgers to throw for just 185 yards and zero touchdowns.
In the second segment, Holcomb visits five other division showdowns including the three in the AFC which clinched the East, West and South divisions. Then, the segment moves to the NFC with showdowns in the West and South.
Finally, in the '4th and Long' segment, Holcomb discusses the Robert Griffin III fumble at the end of the first half, Johnny Manziel's first NFL start, and the snoozer between the Titans and Jets. All that and more on this week's "Monday Morning Huddle".
