The Pressure Will Be On Philip Rivers To Win A Super Bowl

When you think of San Diego Chargers’ quarterback Philip Rivers, you think of a MVP candidate of the NFL. But right now, he’s the MVP of the league. With his team sharing the best record in football, all eyes will be on the 32-year-old quarterback out of NC State University.

Philip Rivers is just an extraordinary quarterback. Standing 6‘5“, he doesn’t back down from nobody. He will get in the face of opponents and not apologize for it. Rivers will do anything to help his team win football games.

The luck of the draw wasn’t always on the side for Philip Rivers. There were a few seasons that his team didn’t make the playoffs, from 2010-2012. Former head coach Norv Turner was to blame for many of the failures of this organization.

We as football fans knew that Philip Rivers was one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but when you’re not winning in the playoffs, people just count you out.

So this season, Rivers seems to have reinvented himself to fans across the country, to let them know the San Diego Chargers are a team that should be taken seriously. But as everyone keeps watching, the pressure will follow.

Philip Rivers has been in the NFL for 11 seasons now, and hasn’t won a Super Bowl, but with the Chargers being as good as they are, anything is possible. The pressure is finally on for Rivers to put up or shut up.

I can say for sure that I’m rooting for him to succeed, because this is his time, and he deserves all the accolades that are coming his way. Philip Rivers is leading the NFL in quarterback rating, 117.6, and he doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. With his strong arm and steady pocket passing, a Super Bowl is right around corner for Rivers.
