Seattle Seahawks: Top 10 Players in Franchise History

The Seattle Seahawks started out as the 27^th team in the NFL back in 1976 and 37 years later claimed its first Super Bowl championship. The wait was well worth it.

From the start, with defensive tackle Steve Niehaus as the teams first ever draft pick, to playing most of its 1980s glory years with a quarterback from Milton College named Dave Krieg behind center, Seattle has become the trendy chic team to root for in the NFL.

Along the way, the team has drafted and sign players to help mold the history of this franchise.

Now, in its 38^th season, the Seahawks look to make history again with back to back Super Bowl titles. Can the players of the current team help celebrate the accomplishments of those before them that helped the franchise get here?

As a child by brother Robert was a huge fan of the Seahawks and their uniforms. Watching the Seahawks win their first world title brought a little bit of joy to him and tons of happiness to the 12^th Man in Seattle. It looks like there is better than an even chance it might just happen again.
