Kansas City Chiefs 'State of the Season' Infographic - Week 7
Time for an update to Week 7's "State of the Season" Report in inforgraphic form. This new weekly series of our beloved Kansas City Chiefs, boils down the current state of affairs for the team using an infographic that is heavy on the illustration and light on the rambling.
This infographic will be updated on a weekly basis showing the progress or regression of the team, key stats and history, as well as a quick summary on what went right or wrong over the past week.
This is the first time that a summary of the season will be captured in a single page summary for the fans.
The Chiefs' move to .500 and their record now stands at 3-3 after a huge road win in San Diego. While it may not always have been pretty, Kansas City siezed a prime opportunity to win a crucial game against a red-hot division opponent on the road. When that happens, you don't worry about how or why, you just take the win. We won't be getting any apologies from Andy Reid this week, as he finally decided to ride Jamaal Charles all the way to the win. The defense made timely stops, unlike in some earlier games this year, enabling the Chiefs' offense to dominate the time of possession battle and keep Rivers on the sideline.
Kansas City is back home next week against a Rams team that just upended the Seattle Seahawks in a nail-biter. This is another MUST-win for the Chiefs on their home turf and a chance to move closer to the top of the division.
