Cleveland Browns (5-3) @ Cincinnati Bengals (5-2-1), 8:25 p.m.

The Browns' past three opponents have a combined three wins, yet the Browns have been outscored by them 54-51. A big reason for the Browns' recent failures is that Brian Hoyer has failed to lead the offense. Ben Tate has also struggled, averaging just 2.12 yards per carry in the past four weeks. The Bengals' defense is having trouble against both the run and the pass, so this is a good week for the Browns' offense to rebound.

Throwing five picks in the past four game is a tribute to how inconsistent and unreliable Andy Dalton is. A.J. Green is back and Mohamed Sanu has stepped up, but Dalton must deliver. On the flip side, Jeremy Hill has been nothing short of impressive, who is much more than a goal-line back. The Browns have one of the league's worst run defenses, so look for Hill to have another great game.

Cincinnati Bengals Win, 31-23

Dallas Cowboys (6-3) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8), 1 p.m. (London)

The Brandon Weeden-lead Cowboys struggled against the Cardinals, gaining only 266 yards and scoring just 10 offensive points. Weeden was unable to keep drives alive, completing under 60% of his passes and turning over the ball twice. Tony Romo's completed over 60% of his passes in every game of 2014, while he has thrown just three picks since Week 2. DeMarco Murray failed to pick up yardage when needed, as the star running back rushed for a season-low 79 yards. Going up against the Jaguars, who have struggled with the run all year, Murray should rebound, but Weeden is still a question at quarterback.

Last week against the Bengals, Blake Bortles played the best game of his short career, while Denard Robinson once again impressed with a nice 100-yard performance. The Cowboys have been average against both the run, so Robinson should have another good game. Bortles, on the other hand, should do great, as the Cowboys secondary has been beaten too often through the past few games.

Dallas Cowboys Win, 27-17

Tennessee Titans (2-6) @ Baltimore Ravens (5-4), 1 p.m.

The Ravens have one of the league's most stout run stopping fronts, so do not look for Bishop Sankey or Shonn Greene to find much success. Instead, the Titans will have to rely on sixth-round draft pick Zach Mettenberger, who had an up-and-down performance against the Texans. The Ravens' secondary played horribly last week, but they normally do a good job in coverage. Look for them to have a nice game against an inexperienced quarterback.

Coming off of two divisional losses, the Ravens need a win. Joe Flacco, who has long been known as one of the league's more inconsistent quarterbacks, still has yet to string together two impressive performances, while running backs Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro can not be relied on to carry the offense. The Titans have done a good job limiting big runs, but they have struggled against the pass, so look for Flacco to rebound.

Baltimore Ravens Win, 30-20

Kansas City Chiefs (5-3) @ Buffalo Bills (5-3), 1 p.m.

The Chiefs have been a top-ten team since their bye week, and a lot of the credit has to go to the reliability of Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles. They will be going up against one of the toughest defenses, though. The Bills have allowed just 12 passing touchdowns while also picking off opposing quarterbacks 12 times, a league-high, while they are allowing just 3.6 yards per carry. The Chiefs were long given flak for the diminishment of their offensive line, and going up against what may be the best defensive line in the NFL, this offense will struggle.

Kyle Orton may have been strong in all of his 2014 outings, but it is questionable whether he can be relied on when there is no running game. With Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller both dealing with injuries, the Bills used a combination of Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown, a duo that averaged just two yards a carry in Week 8. If Fred Jackson does return, the running game is still a question, with the Chiefs' defense being the only one that has yet to allow a rushing touchdown. Orton must prove that he can lead the offense against a quality defense.

Buffalo Bills Win, 20-16

Miami Dolphins (5-3) @ Detroit Lions (6-2), 1 p.m.

Ryan Tannehill may have put up six touchdowns to just one pick in the past three games, but the third-year quarterback is in for a rough game. The Lions have allowed just nine passing touchdowns, a league-low. Like Tannehill, Lamar Miller has been exceeding expectations, but he will be going up against a defensive front that has allowed just 3.3 yards per carry. This offense has been hot in the past few games, but look for them to take a big step back.

Even with the emergence of Golden Tate, the Lions' offense has struggled to put up points. The Lions have averaged just 20 points a game, but luckily for them, their defense has stepped up. Meanwhile, the Dolphins' defense has done the same. The Dolphins' defense, though, has been prone to allowing the big play, while their secondary is not able to hold up when the pass rush fails to disrupt the pocket.

Detroit Lions Win, 17-13

San Francisco 49ers (4-4) @ New Orleans Saints (4-4), 1 p.m.

While the Saints' secondary has improved, their pass defense as a whole is still below average. Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers' plethora of receivers should be able to rebound after a few bad performances. Frank Gore has struggled recently, and the aging running back might have another bad game, as the Saints have a solid run defense.

Drew Brees and Mark Ingram have stringed together some good performances, but the duo will struggle against a defense that has held a majority of their opponents to under 20 offensive points. Ingram will surely have a bad night, so the pressure will be on Brees, who has been prone to turnovers in 2014.

San Francisco 49ers Win, 27-24

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-3) @ New York Jets (1-8), 1 p.m.

Ben Roethlisberger has played at an MVP-level in the past few games and will be up against the league's worst secondary. Do not be surprised if Roethlisberger throws six touchdowns once again. Le'Veon Bell played well prior to his forgettable performance against the Ravens, but the star running back will have another bad game, going up against a very stout run defense.

Chris Ivory has struggled with consistency, but the second-year Jet has been a big-play threat. The Steelers, who's run defense is prone to allowing big gains, will certainly have trouble containing Ivory down in the red zone. If Ivory can take advantage of the Steelers' underperforming defensive front, then the offense will be able to function. As long as Michael Vick is not leaned on too heavily, he should be able to keep drives alive.

Pittsburgh Steelers Win, 31-21

Atlanta Falcons (2-6) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-7), 1 p.m.

The Falcons will struggle to get a running game going, as the Buccaneers' defensive front matches up favorably against the Falcons' patchwork of a line. That will lead them to rely on Matt Ryan, who must prove that he can consistently keep drives alive and move the ball down the field. The Buccaneers do not have a great secondary, but their pass rush may take a step up against the Falcons' dismal pass protection.

Even with weapons like Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans, the Buccaneers' passing attack has had a lot of trouble. Incapable passers Josh McCown and Mike Glennon have failed to lead the offense. With a below average line and running game, this offense is struggling. However, they will be up against a Falcon defense that has not been able to stop both the run and the pass. Expect this divisional match-up to be much closer than the first one.

Atlanta Falcons Win, 35-30

Denver Broncos (6-2) @ Oakland Raiders (0-8), 4:05 p.m.

The Broncos' offense is among the league's most potent, scoring 30+ points five times in 2014, and 40+ twice. On the other hand, the Raiders' defense is among the league's least talented, allowing 30+ points three times. Peyton Manning and his group of receivers should be able to consistently put points up on the board, while Ronnie Hillman should manage to have a good game too.

Derek Carr has been the best rookie quarterback so far, but the Broncos' pass defense, outside of their Week 9 match-up against the Patriots, has been one of the best in the NFL. With Darren McFadden and Maurice Jones-Drew failing to do anything in the running game, the Raiders' offense once again finds themselves in a bad situation.

Denver Broncos Win, 45-23

St. Louis Rams (3-5) @ Arizona Cardinals (7-1), 4:25 p.m.

The Rams have a nice running back in third-round pick Tre Mason, but Mason must prove that he can be relied on to consistently pick up good yardage. The Cardinals were able to contain DeMarco Murray, so that means that the pressure will be on Austin Davis. Davis has had his bright moments, but he can not be relied on to lead an offense.

Carson Palmer has been great after returning from injury, and he should be able to take advantage of a secondary that can not keep up with quality receivers. Andre Ellington had a rough stretch after a strong start, but the scatback rebounded against the Cowboys, rushing for a season-high 95 yards while also pulling in four catches for 39 yards and a touchdown. Ellington is a playmaker and the Rams' defense has allowed a league-high ten runs of 20 yards or greater.

Arizona Cardinals Win, 31-20

New York Giants (3-5) @ Seattle Seahawks (5-3), 4:25 p.m.

None of the Giants' games have been within one possession, with 10 being the smallest margin of victory or defeat. That goes to show how inconsistent the Giants have been, both on offense and on defense. The Seahawks' run defense is still among the league's best, but their pass defense has been one of the most disappointing. With first-round pick Odell Beckham and receiving back Ahmad Bradshaw, Eli Manning has the weapons to move the ball. And Manning has done a nice job avoiding costly mistakes that plagued him in 2013 and earlier this year, but he must play with a little more aggression and throw the ball down the field.

Russell Wilson has thrown for over 210 yards just twice, averaging just 6.9 yards per attempt. Wilson has not thrown many picks, but the offense needs a spark. Marshawn Lynch has not rushed for over 100 yards since Week 1, while three of the team's top targets are gone. The Giants' defense has been average against the run, but they have done a good job forcing turnovers in the passing game. Without Prince Amukamara, though, this unit may struggle.

Seattle Seahawks Win, 26-20

Chicago Bears (3-5) @ Green Bay Packers (5-3), 8:30 p.m.

After a slow start to the year, Matt Forte is on a hot streak. Look for him to build off of his strong performance against the Patriots, as the Packers' run defense is among the worst in the NFL. Jay Cutler, though, will struggle, as the Packers have a nice secondary that is capable of containing the Bears' twin towers.

The Bears' secondary has been too hit and miss this year, which Aaron Rodgers will be able to take advantage of. Rodgers and his receivers have not been able to consistently produce, but that is due to the lack of receiver depth and pass protection. The Bears do not have a capable pass rusher, so the Packers' offense should flourish.

Green Bay Packers Win, 28-20

Carolina Panthers (3-5-1) @ Philadelphia Eagles (6-2), 8:30 p.m.

Cam Newton has struggled this year, but not as much as the Eagles' defense. Look for Newton to rebound against them. The Eagles have allowed 17 passing touchdowns, while just recording just four picks on the year. They have not played all too well against the run either, allowing 117 yards per game.

The Panthers had one of the best front sevens last year, but in 2014, they have struggled to stop the run and provide pressure on passing downs. LeSean McCoy is starting to play well again, and look for him to have another nice game and take pressure off of backup Mark Sanchez.

Jets Fighting Until The End

While The Patriots beat the Bengals and Bills in weeks previous, outscoring them 80-39, they struggled against the 1-6 Jets. Geno Smith played his best game of the season, throwing for 226 yards and one touchdown to zero picks. Chris Ivory picked up the slack too, recording his highest yards total this year while also scoring the team's first touchdown. The Jets came within a blocked field goal of winning the game, and a two-point conversion from going into overtime.

Could The Cardinals Be The Best In The West

The Seahawks and 49ers are a combined 7-6, while winning just one in the past two weeks, while the Rams, 2-4, have struggled to consistently hold up. The Cardinals are atop the division at 5-1, and have Carson Palmer back in the lineup. This is a very potent division, but the Cardinals are the only one with a reliability on both sides of the football.

Chargers Lost After Just Edging Out The Raiders Last Week

The Chargers have been strong all season, but there was some question after their 31-28 win against the 0-6 Raiders. The Chiefs were coming off of a disappointing loss in San Francisco, but they were as efficient as ever against the Chargers. Both Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles had nice days, while Philip Rivers, an MVP candidate, struggled to move the ball.

Bengals Shut Down, Falling Far

After winning by a combined 47 points in their first three games, but Bengals have gone 0-2-1. The Bengals were beat down the Patriots in Week 5, while struggling against the Panthers last week, but they were not able to do anything against the Colts. Andy Dalton averaged just 3.3 yards per attempt, while his offense just converted one of 13 third downs. On defense, they struggled mightily, as the Colts were able to consistently move the ball and put up points.

Do The Jaguars Have Themselves A Team

The Browns were thought to be a playoff team after starting off 3-2 and losing by a combined five points, but they fell to the previously winless Jaguars 24-6. On a five-game losing streak, the Jets must look for a way to beat the Patriots, who have been red-hot in recent weeks. Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson have been mildly productive, and with Jerod Mayo out, they will look to have solid games. If the Jets fall behind too far too fast, though, they will be forced to lean on their unreliable passing attack. Geno Smith, who has yet to have a game without a pick, will be up against the league's third-best pass defense.

The Patriots lost Stevan Ridley to an injury last week, but the Jets' run defense, which was seen as a strength, looks like a weakness, as they have given up 214 yards to the likes of Branden Oliver and Ronnie Hillman. The Jets also have one of the worst secondaries in the league, so Tom Brady will be able to consistently move the ball.

New England Patriots Win, 35-20

Sunday, Oct. 19

Atlanta Falcons @ Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m.

After putting up 37 and 56 points against the Saints and Buccaneers, respectively, the Falcons' offense has yet to record more than 28 points. In the past three weeks, they have averaged just 20 points. The Ravens' defense has been one of the most consistently competitive in the league, having yet to allow more than 20 points since Week 3. Matt Ryan, on the other hand, has been very inconsistent, recording nine of his 12 touchdowns in three games, while also recording five of his seven picks in two games. Without a reliable rushing attack, Ryan will be counted on to lead the offense down the field.

Joe Flacco is an odd case, throwing ten touchdowns and zero picks in Weeks 2, 4, and 6, but has thrown two touchdowns and three picks in Weeks 1, 3, and 5. If he follows this pattern, he is bound to have a bad game. The Falcons' pass defense, though, is ranked 29th in the league, allowing a league-high 8.6 yards per attempt and recording just two picks. The Falcons also have one of the league's worst run defenses, so expect Lorenzo Taliaferro and Justin Forsett to get the ball early and often.

Baltimore Ravens Win, 31-21

Tennessee Titans @ Washington Redskins, 1 p.m.

Charlie Whitehurst has been a solid fill-in for Jake Locker, and going up against a Washington defense that has allowed 13 passing touchdowns and a 105.1 passer rating, he will look to have his best game yet. The Redskins have allowed just 3.9 yards per carry, so look for Bishop Sankey and Shonn Greene to both have small workloads once again.

Kirk Cousins is not a reliable quarterback, and going up against a defense that is tied for fifth in interceptions, look for the Redskins to run the ball a lot. Alfred Morris has recorded 386 yards and three touchdowns off of 97 carries, 9th, 5th, and 6th in those categories, respectively. Both teams possess below average defenses, so this should be a high-scoring affair with plenty of big plays.

Washington Redskins Win, 30-24

Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams, 1 p.m.

Russell Wilson has been one of the league's most efficient quarterbacks, throwing two touchdowns in each of his first four games, while recording two total interceptions. The Seahawks, though, are still a run-first offense, being one of the few teams with more rushing attempts than passing. Excluding Week 1, the Seahawks have not scored more than 30 points, but it has not scored less than 20 either, making this unit one of the most consistent in the league.

Austin Davis plays at an adequate level when the pocket is clean, and the Seahawks have recorded just seven sacks, while their coverage unit has not lived up to expectations. The Seahawks' run defense, though, is still one of the best in the league, allowing just 3.1 yards per carry. The Rams' backs were productive early against the 49ers, but they stopped running the ball once they fell behind. Expect the same to happen against the Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks Win, 34-16

Cleveland Browns @ Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.

Going up against one of the worst defenses, the Browns should be able to put up more points than weeks past. With Ben Tate and Isaiah Crowell carrying the ball 30+ times a game, Brian Hoyer will not have to do much. Expect a solid game from one of the most consistent offenses.

Blake Bortles threw just one pick last week, while recording 336 yards and an 88.7 passer rating, his personal bests in each of those areas. Bortles will have to put up more points on the board if he is gonna win this one. Toby Gerhart will not be able to get much going, even against a weak run defense. The Browns have allowed a 90.6 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks, so look for Bortles to step up and top his Week 6 numbers.

Cleveland Browns Win, 35-24

Cincinnati Bengals @ Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m.

The Bengals recorded 37 points in Week 6 without A.J. Green, and the Colts' defense has not played much better than the Panthers'. Mohamed Sanu has really stepped up in place of Green and fellow receiver Marvin Jones, who is now on the injured reserve. Playmaker Giovani Bernard and red-zone-back Jeremy Hill have been one of the most productive tandems, recording a combined 820 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns.

Andrew Luck and the Colts' passing attack is first in the NFL, but the Bengals have held opposing quarterbacks to a 71.4 passer rating. Luck has thrown for 350+ yards in four of his games, but has thrown three picks in the past two weeks. Ahmad Bradshaw has established himself as the Colts' number one back, but he has been more of a receiver out of the backfield rather than a pure runner, recording five receiving touchdowns to zero rushing.

Cincinnati Bengals Win, 34-27

Minnesota Vikings @ Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m.

The Vikings scored 34 and 41 points against the Rams and Falcons, respectively, but have failed to surpass 10 points in their other four games. Going up against the league's best run defense, the Vikings will likely rely on Teddy Bridgewater to lead the offense. Bridgewater will look to rebound off of his poor perfomance against the Lions, but the Bills' front is nearly as good as the Lions'.

Kyle Orton has played well in place of E.J. Manuel, but he may struggle against a fairly stout pass defense. C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both good backs, but they have struggled to consistently find success. The Vikings' run defense has been below par, so look for Spiller and Jackson to rebound.

Buffalo Bills Win, 23-14

Miami Dolphins @ Chicago Bears, 1 p.m.

With Knowshon Moreno out for the year, the Dolphins will have to rely on Lamar Miller, which did not work out too well for them last year. The Bears' run defense improved a lot over the course of the year, so the Dolphins will likely keep Miller's workload small. Ryan Tannehill has had troubles with turnovers, and going up against one of the better ball hawking secondaries, Tannehill will struggle.

Jay Cutler has been amazing in some games, and horrible in others. The Dolphins' secondary is average at best, so look for Cutler to be on top of his game. After being held scoreless on the ground, Matt Forte scored two touchdowns, to go along with 157 yards from scrimmage. Look for Forte to build off of his strong game against the Dolphins.

Chicago Bears Win, 28-17

New Orleans Saints @ Detroit Lions, 1 p.m.

Drew Brees has put up good numbers, but has struggled to keep up with opposing teams' offenses. Going up against the league's best pass defense, Brees will struggle. Brees has thrown six picks in just five games, while the Lions have recorded seven picks and have allowed just five passing touchdowns. Khiry Robinson has been productive in relief of Mark Ingram, but the Lions' defensive front is good enough to shut him down.

The Saints are tied with the Jets and Jaguars for least interceptions, with one. Matthew Stafford will have a great game, even without Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush. Golden Tate and Eric Ebron may both top 100 receiving yards. Joique Bell has been struggling, so they will not run the ball too often, even though the Saints' rush defense is simply average.

Detroit Lions Win, 35-27

Carolina Panthers @ Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m.

Scoring 30+ points in each of the past two games after scoring just 29 in the two weeks prior, this offense is on the right track. Cam Newton has been playing like a top-level quarterback this season, but he will be up against the Packers' top-five pass defense. The Packers' defense has allowed just seven passing touchdowns, while picking off opposing quarterbacks nine times. The Packers' run defense, though, is dead last. Darrin Reaves has not played too well so far, but look for the rookie to have his best game yet.

Aaron Rodgers led the Packers down the field late in the game to win them their third game in a row. The Panthers have a shaky secondary, so Rodgers should continue to put up MVP-level numbers. The Panthers' front seven has not played up to expectations, allowing a league-high 5.5 yards per carry. Eddie Lacy, who is still struggling, will look to bounce back after another unimpressive game.

Green Bay Packers Win, 34-23

Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers, 4:05 p.m.

Excluding their Week 1 match-up against the Titans, the Chiefs have played very well, outscoring their opponents 109-75. Alex Smith has put up good numbers, but has struggled to lead his team when they are behind. Jamaal Charles has been great as always, while Knile Davis has emerged as a productive spell back. The Chargers' defense had trouble against the Raiders, but they have otherwise been solid.

The Chargers' offense has been one of the best in recent weeks, as Branden Oliver stepped up in place of the injured Ryan Mathews. The Chiefs, however, are one of the two teams that have yet to allow a rushing touchdown. Their pass defense has played well at times, but has allowed too many big plays while not making enough themselves.

San Diego Chargers Win, 28-24

Arizona Cardinals @ Oakland Raiders, 4:25 p.m.

Surpringly, the Cardinals have yet to throw an interception. The Raiders have one of the worst secondaries in the league, so do not expect that to change this week. Andre Ellington has struggled recently, but look for him to bounce back against the Raiders, who have the 31st ranked run defense and are prone to allowing big gains.

Derek Carr had his best game against the Chargers, but going up against what is a very athletic and dangerous secondary, his rookie side may show. The Cardinals have recorded eight picks so far, which is good for 3rd in the league. Like Carr, Darren McFadden played well, but does not match up favorably against the Cardinals' defense. The Cardinals have allowed 3.2 yards per carry and just one run of 20+ yards.

Arizona Cardinals Win, 35-24

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.

After enjoying one of the hotter streaks in the NFL, the Giants' offense was shut down cold by the Eagles. Eli Manning did not throw a single pick, while Andre Williams did not play all that bad, but they failed to make key plays. Going 2-for-14 on third down, too many drives stalled. The Cowboys have a surprisingly stout pass defense, but their run defense has allowed 5.1 yards per carry. Expect the Giants offense as a whole to bounce back.

DeMarco Murray should continue his streak off 100-yards games, as the Giants have a below average run defense. Tony Romo may struggle to keep from turning the ball over, though, as the Giants' defense has a league-high ten interceptions.

Dallas Cowboys Win, 31-21

San Francisco 49ers @ Denver Broncos, 8:30 p.m.

Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde will face a stout Denver front, but both backs should find success early on. The Broncos have a nice secondary, and Colin Kaepernick will struggle to find a rhythm. Kaepernick must stay patient and mistake-free if the 49ers are to win this one.

The 49ers have been one of the best against the run, so do not expect Montee Ball or any Bronco back to get the ball often. Peyton Manning will likely air it out, and even against a productive secondary, he should fare well. The 49ers have been one of the best at limiting big plays, so look for a lot of screens and short routes.

Houston Texans @ Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:30 p.m.

Arian Foster will look to lead the Texans' offense in Pittsburgh, as the Steelers have allowed 4.4 yards per carry and six rushing touchdowns. Ryan Fitzpatrick will have some trouble, though, as the Steelers have a top-ten pass defense.

After three poor games in a row, the Steelers will look to rebound against the Texans. Ben Roethlisberger has been good stat-wise, but must lead his team down the field rather than playing it safe so often. Le'Veon Bell has been a star for the Steelers, and he matches up favorably against the Texans' defense, which has been average against the run.

The Packers' defense has allowed just seven passing touchdowns, while picking off opposing quarterbacks nine times. The Packers' run defense, though, is dead last. Darrin Reaves has not played too well so far, but look for the rookie to have his best game yet.

Aaron Rodgers led the Packers down the field late in the game to win them their third game in a row. The Panthers have a shaky secondary, so Rodgers should continue to put up MVP-level numbers. The Panthers' front seven has not played up to expectations, allowing a league-high 5.5 yards per carry. Eddie Lacy, who is still struggling, will look to bounce back after another unimpressive game.

Green Bay Packers Win, 34-23

Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers, 4:05 p.m.

Excluding their Week 1 match-up against the Titans, the Chiefs have played very well, outscoring their opponents 109-75. Alex Smith has put up good numbers, but has struggled to lead his team when they are behind. Jamaal Charles has been great as always, while Knile Davis has emerged as a productive spell back. The Chargers' defense had trouble against the Raiders, but they have otherwise been solid.

The Chargers' offense has been one of the best in recent weeks, as Branden Oliver stepped up in place of the injured Ryan Mathews. The Chiefs, however, are one of the two teams that have yet to allow a rushing touchdown. Their pass defense has played well at times, but has allowed too many big plays while not making enough themselves.

San Diego Chargers Win, 28-24

Arizona Cardinals @ Oakland Raiders, 4:25 p.m.

Surpringly, the Cardinals have yet to throw an interception. The Raiders have one of the worst secondaries in the league, so do not expect that to change this week. Andre Ellington has struggled recently, but look for him to bounce back against the Raiders, who have the 31st ranked run defense and are prone to allowing big gains.

Derek Carr had his best game against the Chargers, but going up against what is a very athletic and dangerous secondary, his rookie side may show. The Cardinals have recorded eight picks so far, which is good for 3rd in the league. Like Carr, Darren McFadden played well, but does not match up favorably against the Cardinals' defense. The Cardinals have allowed 3.2 yards per carry and just one run of 20+ yards.

Arizona Cardinals Win, 35-24

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m.

After enjoying one of the hotter streaks in the NFL, the Giants' offense was shut down cold by the Eagles. Eli Manning did not throw a single pick, while Andre Williams did not play all that bad, but they failed to make key plays. Going 2-for-14 on third down, too many drives stalled. The Cowboys have a surprisingly stout pass defense, but their run defense has allowed 5.1 yards per carry. Expect the Giants offense as a whole to bounce back.

DeMarco Murray should continue his streak off 100-yards games, as the Giants have a below average run defense. Tony Romo may struggle to keep from turning the ball over, though, as the Giants' defense has a league-high ten interceptions.

Dallas Cowboys Win, 31-21

San Francisco 49ers @ Denver Broncos, 8:30 p.m.

Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde will face a stout Denver front, but both backs should find success early on. The Broncos have a nice secondary, and Colin Kaepernick will struggle to find a rhythm. Kaepernick must stay patient and mistake-free if the 49ers are to win this one.

The 49ers have been one of the best against the run, so do not expect Montee Ball or any Bronco back to get the ball often. Peyton Manning will likely air it out, and even against a productive secondary, he should fare well. The 49ers have been one of the best at limiting big plays, so look for a lot of screens and short routes.

San Francisco 49ers Win, 31-28

Monday, Oct. 20

Houston Texans @ Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:30 p.m.

Arian Foster will look to lead the Texans' offense in Pittsburgh, as the Steelers have allowed 4.4 yards per carry and six rushing touchdowns. Ryan Fitzpatrick will have some trouble, though, as the Steelers have a top-ten pass defense.

After three poor games in a row, the Steelers will look to rebound against the Texans. Ben Roethlisberger has been good stat-wise, but must lead his team down the field rather than playing it safe so often. Le'Veon Bell has been a star for the Steelers, and he matches up favorably against the Texans' defense, which has been average against the run.

Pittsburgh Steelers Win, 30-20

The San Francisco 49ers won against the Philadelphia Eagles 26-21.  Apparently no one cares.  What matters is head coach Jim Harbaugh is sitting on a hot seat.  How hot is it?  Depends on who you believe.

Before the season began, ex-quarterback and current ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer called the locker room atmosphere of the 49ers "toxic".  He repeated the claims Monday. 

In the first week of the season NFL Network reported Harbaugh was losing or had lost the locker room.

And now Hall of Famer and NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders is quoting the infamous unnamed sources saying that Harbaugh and the players are "not on the same page" and the players "want him out." 

Is Harbaugh on the hot seat because "players want him out?"  Or is he on the hot seat because his team is 2-2 in an unforgiving conference?  Both.

While Harbaugh is dismissing the claims of losing the locker room by stating Monday, "Personally, I feel that's a bunch of crap."  It is a persistent rumor.  One that will be exacerbated with each loss the 49ers suffer.  And then there are the losses.  After beginning the season with a 28-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys, the Niners suffered two losses, including a defeat in their opening of their new stadium.  They lost to the Chicago Bears in that opening game 20-28.  They then went on to lose to the Arizona Cardinals 14-23. 

In both losses the offense looked inept.  In fact in their win Sunday the offense appeared shaky.  Quarterback Colin Kaepernick was sacked four times and intercepted once.  He called an inopportune time out when clearly the head coach was looking to have the clock run out.  And Kaepernick finished the game completing only 17-of-30 passes. For a coach who is known as a quarterback whisperer, it may be time to shout.  Or is that what is making his seat a little uncomfortable?

Here is the #truth.  Winning makes everything better.  If Harbaugh's Niners start winning will there be an equal cooling effect on his bottom?  #Truth is it doesn't matter if his players don't like him if he wins.  #Truth is Harbaugh's khaki covered bottom is warm and getting warmer.  Not because his players think he is mean.  But because he is losing.
