FN's 'Monday Morning Huddle': Big Games, Bigger Blowouts

Football Nation proudly present its 21st episode in Season Three of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. The NFL had three marquee matchups in Week 9, and all of them ended in lopsided scores. The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers each scored 43 points as they captured home victories over their biggest rival. That's not all the two teams had in common. In the third big matchup, the Arizona Cardinals defeated the Romo-less Cowboys to remain the only one-loss team in the NFL. In the 'Fourth and Long' segment, Holcomb talks Mark Sanchez replacing Eagles quarterback Nick Foles while he is out with a shoulder injury, the Chargers three-game losing streak and the 49ers .500 record halfway through the 2014 season.

All that and more on this edition of Monday Morning Huddle.

FN's 'Monday Morning Huddle': The Passing Sunday

Football Nation proudly presents its 20th episode in Season Three of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. The NFL is a passing league, but Week 8 saw some of the biggest passing days in NFL history, and Holcomb is here to break it all down. In the first segment, our host talks Big Ben and the Steelers offense scoring 51 points against the Colts defense, who were fresh off a shutout. Where did the Steel City explosion come from? Andrew Luck, Nick Foles and Aaron Rodgers also all eclipsed the 400-yard mark, but the last three quarterbacks did not do one important thing that Roethlisberger did.

Next, Holcomb welcomes FN Contributor and Bleacher Report Fantasy Football Columnist Dave Guidera to the show to discuss the Denver Broncos victory over the San Diego Chargers. Guidera provides insight and a playoff prediction for the Broncos. As always, the show concludes with the 'Fourth and Long' segment. Holcomb talks about the Steelers and the AFC North in further depth and the success of the 9:30 AM ET London game from Sunday. All that and more in this episode of Monday Morning Huddle.

FN's 'Monday Morning Huddle': Broncos D Shines on Manning's Night

Football Nation proudly presents its 19th episode of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. Week 7 saw some more great NFL action with most of it centered around the AFC West. Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre's passing touchdown record against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. Even though the record grabs all the headlines, the Broncos are the best team in the league because of its defense. Denver held San Francisco to just 62 yards on the ground and sacked Colin Kaepernick six times. The Chiefs edged the Chargers in San Diego with the same "stop the run" formula. Even at 3-3, Kansas City is a team to be reckoned with in the second half. San Diego and Denver square off on Thursday night. DeMarco Murray ran for 100 yards again as the Cowboys won its sixth straight game, but in the second segment, Holcomb argues it was Tony Romo who led the way on offense in Week 7. In the 'Fourth and Long' segment, Holcomb talks about what is wrong with the Seattle Seahawks, the controversial last play from Thursday night's game and who is the team to beat in the AFC North. All that and more in this edition of Monday Morning Huddle.

FN's 'Monday Morning Huddle': The Impressive NFC East

Football Nation proudly presents episode 18 in season three of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. Week 6 was a big weekend for the NFC East with the Cowboys and Eagles both making statements and improving to a conference best, 5-1. Although the score might not indicate it, Dallas flew to Seattle to beat the defending champions in dominant fashion. The Sunday Night Football score does indicate a dominating performance from Philadelphia and that was exactly what it was as the Eagles shut out the Giants. Next, Holcomb discusses the first good Thursday night game the 2014 season has seen and the tie between the Bengals and Panthers. Finally, in the '4th and Long' segment, Holcomb debates Todd Haley's job security, Matt Ryan's drop in fantasy production, the NFC West leading Arizona Cardinals and Peyton Manning approaching the touchdown passes record. All that and more in this edition of Monday Morning Huddle.

FN's 'MMH': 49ers & Packers Rebound, NFC South Struggles

Football Nation proudly presents its Week 4 edition of "Monday Morning Huddle" with host Dave Holcomb. This episode opens with the top two games from Sunday. The 49ers and Packers won the two big matchups to improve to .500 and in the tough NFC West and North, perhaps save their chances of winning the division. The NFC South certainly struggled on Sunday with the Panthers, Saints and Falcons all losing road games by 13 points or more. Of course, Tampa Bay surprised Pittsburgh at Heinz Field and is now just a game out of first place. Holcomb talks Buccaneers and quarterback Mike Glennon in the 'Fourth and Long' segment along with two other young quarterbacks, Washington's Kirk Cousins and Miami's Ryan Tannehill.
