Five Top Candidates For NFL Coach Of The Year

NFL owners want to win games and win Super Bowl championships. The road to those achievements are often dependent on the style of coaching and the mixture of players and management that make for a successful run.

This season, there are plenty of coaches who have shown they have the right stuff to mold a group of men into a team and then into a winner. That window of ability can be steady, like a Bill Belichick in New England or fleeting as is the case for Mike Smith of Atlanta and Ron Rivera in Carolina – two teams that are still fighting for a playoff berth with teams that will not produce winning records this season.

These five coaches have done yeoman’s work this season and deserve consideration for Coach of the Year in the NFL.
