Week 6 Players That Will Win You 1 Million Dollars

Play fantasy football for a one MILLION dollar first place prize FREE, ffchamps.com/million TODAY. Enter by opening a draftkings account with only a $25 deposit. Upon deposit, you will get FREE a $27 entry into Millionaire Maker, this weekend's $1 million dollar game, and a FREE FFChamps membership for the entire NFL season.

The best fantasy performers aren't always the biggest-named stars in the NFL. All-Pro receivers A.J. Green and Calvin Johnson likely won't be on the field in Week 6, but I'll give you some lower-valued players who can help you bring home 1 MILLION DOLLARS. If you're not a Chargers fan and aren't familiar with anyone other than Ryan Matthews in the backfield, get yourself acquainted with Brandon Oliver. I'll get back to him in a second though.

Lions Injury Woes Could Be Key To One Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

The Detroit Lions welcome the Buffalo Bills this Sunday to Ford Field for a 1pm kickoff. The Lions' record stands at 3-1 following Week 4's 24-17 win over the New York Jets. Buffalo looks to get back on track following 2 straight losses which brought them to 2-2 on the year. Vegas has Detroit as a 6 1/2 point favorite with an o/u of 44.

Two big injury concerns for the Lions heading into the game. RB Joique Bell has been ruled out due to a concussion, and WR Calvin Johnson is questionable due to an ankle injury but expected to play. Megatron was mainly used as a decoy last week, putting up a pedestrian 2/12/0 line.

Buffalo has been pretty strong against the run so far, holding opponents to 286 yards and 0 TDs. Their Pass D has been a mixed bag, allowing 1,065 yards and 6 TDs while forcing 5 INTs. Detroit has been pretty heavily weighted to the passing game, with a split of 148/113 in pass to rush attempts. QB Matthew Stafford currently sits at 4th in the league with 1,176 yards, but his 5 TDs on the year have to be considered a disappointment. The run game has not produced much for the Lions with 349 yards, however they do have 4 TDs on the ground.

This Sunday brings the chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS - www.FFChamps.com/million. Players with more opportunities - i.e. targets and touches - provide better upside, which is what we are looking for to put us in the best position to make some cash. The Lions' injury woes present 3 such candidates, listed below with salary for the week.

  • RB Reggie Bush, $6,200. Bush and Bell have been pretty even so far in production, with Bell seeing more opportunites on the ground while Bush receives more targets through the air. Bell being out opens up even more opportunity for Bush, a heavy workload is a given it's just a matter of production at this point.
  • WR Golden Tate, $4,900. With Johnson banged up, Tate put up his biggest line of the year last week - 8/116/0. His 11 targets were also a season high, look for that trend to continue Sunday.
  • TE Eric Ebron, $3,000. At a bargain basement price, Ebron could see some red zone targets this week. He found the end zone for the 1st time last week, could be the confidence boost he needs to start making some noise.

As always, monitor the injury reports for news on Johnson. Get your lineups set - www.FFChamps.com/million - this week is going to be epic.

5 Minimum Priced WRs To Consider For One Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

An incredible opportunity is on the table for this week's games. The chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS is very real, anticipation has been continually building. The waiting is almost over, if you haven't already entered your lineups in there is still time www.FFChamps.com/million.

There are plenty of ways to attack roster construction. Prefer the stud RBs? Love slot receivers that receive a ton of targets? Willing to pay up for a top QB? Or do you prefer to find the best value at QB? Whichever way you choose, just remember that there is always a ton of value on the board if you're willing to dig a little deep. In the interest of saving you some time, here are 5 WR candidates priced at the minimum salary, $3,000:

  • Jerricho Cotchery, CAR. Solid 5/80/0 last week on 7 targets. Good hands and a reliable target, the more attention that gets paid to teammate Kelvin Benjamin, the more targets he may see. However, could get lost in the shuffle as Benjamin and TE Greg Olsen receive bulk of targets.
  • Malcolm Floyd, SD. 15/187/2 on the year, receives his share of targets. Downside is teammate Keenan Allen awoke from his slumber last week and may continue to be the focal point.
  • Brandon Lafell, NE. One of the few bright spots for the Pats from the MNF debacle - 6/119/1 - could be more involved going forward. Downside is that outside of Julius Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, it's near impossible to predict NE targets and touches.
  • Kenny Britt, STL. Had his best game of the year prior to the Rams bye week - 5/69/0, could be a sign he will be receiving a bigger workload. The talent has always been there, it's just a question of if he can put it together.
  • Allen Robinson, JAX. Robinson leads the Jags in targets with 26, in game with an o/u of 47 1/2 and Pittsburgh favored by 6, Robinson should see plenty of work. Downside is that he has not found the end zone yet this year, perhaps that streak comes to an end.

Five candidates to consider that will not eat up a lot of cap space, if you spend $3k here you will have $47k left to build out your roster. Upside and downside for all 5, but worth considering to free up some space. Get your lineups in - www.FFChamps.com/million - someone is going to make ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

Week 5 Injury Update That Could Cost You A Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

If you have been read anything this week on Football Nation, then you know there is a great contest going on. It's a million dollar one week fantasy football contest. Just go to FFchamps.com/million to sign up. One mistake people do when drafting players is not to look at the injury updates. Sometimes people set their rosters at the beginning of the week and then let it go. A good thing is to always check the injury report every day. Sometimes a player gets hurt in practice and will miss the game. It's good to know who’s hurt and who’s the fill in. With the million dollar contest you have a set budget to spend, which is $50,000. Sometimes a late fill in starter is really cheap and could help you win. Here are a few injuries to keep your eye on this weekend that could win you or cost you a million dollars. (Players salaries in quotation marks)

Calvin Johnson ($8,200) - Calvin is the highest priced wide receiver this week. He has been hobbled by an ankle injury. He played only 33 snaps last week with the ankle injury. Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell hinted that if the ankle doesn’t get better by Sunday, Johnson could sit out the game.

Golden Tate ($4,900) - Tate popped up on the injury report following Thursday's practice. It seems to be a hamstring problem, but he seems to be okay to play Sunday. If Calvin Johnson does miss Sunday’s game Tate could be a good play at only $4,900.

Arian Foster ($7,400) - Foster missed the Week 3 game with an ankle injury. Though he did play Week 4 versus the Buffalo Bills, he only rushed the ball 8 times. Foster split carries with Alfred Blue last week and if Foster plays this week we could be expecting the same result. If Foster does miss the game this week expect a bigger role for Alfred Blue. This week Blue is worth only $3,000 and in the Week 3 game that Foster missed, Blue rushed the ball for 78 yards.

Carson Palmer ($7,200) - Palmer has not played since Week 1 with a shoulder injury. It looks like he will miss the game. Expect Drew Stanton to remain the starter in Palmers absent.

Jonathan Stewart (3,000) and Deangelo Williams ($3,500) - Stewart is listed as doubtful for this week's game with a knee injury. Deangelo Williams has already been ruled out this week. So with Williams out and Stewart most likely missing the game, expect a running back by committee this week for the Carolina Panthers. I wouldn’t pick up a Panther running back this week hoping to win a million dollars, but if you had to I would say pick up Darrin Reaves ($3,000)

Niles Paul ($5,100) and Jordan Reed ($3,600) - Reed, who has been out since Week 1, has a chance to return this week versus the Seattle Seahawks. Reed’s teammate Niles Paul looks to be a question mark after suffering a concussion last week versus the New York Giants. The game is a Monday night game, so I would try to stay away from these two if at all possible. If you are looking to pick up someone this week around the same price range I would suggest Heath Miller ($4,000) and Zach Ertz ($3,800). Miller has a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars give up the most points to the tight ends this year.

Vernon Davis ($4,900) - Davis was a question mark last week with a ankle and knee injury. Then in last week's game against the Eagles he suffered a back injury. He has not practiced all week. It looks like Davis will miss the game.

Joique Bell ($5,600) and Theo Reddick ($3,000) - They both have been ruled out so look for a lot of Reggie Bush ($6,200). If Calvin sits out too, look for Bush to get it done on the ground and through the air.

Eric Decker ($4,800) - Decker has been bothered by a hamstring injury for awhile. I would stay away from him even if he does play.

Andre Johnson ($6,400) - Johnson is listed as questionable. It looks like Johnson will play, but if Johnson does sit out, DeAndre Hopkins ($4,800) could be in for a big game being the Houston Texans number one receiver.

Ben Tate ($5,000) - Tate was trying to come back this week but it looks like he might not play. He is going to test his knee on Saturday to see if he is okay. If Tate is out look for Terrance West ($4,100) and Isaiah Crowell ($3,400) to split carries.

Cecil Shorts ($4,600) and Marqise Lee ($3,200) - Both Shorts and Lee will miss this weekend's game. Look for Week 1 star Allen Hurns ($4,500) and Allen Robinson ($3,000) to be the two starting wide receivers.

Jordan Cameron ($4,400) - Cameron has been hurt by a shoulder injury all year. The Cleveland Browns had a bye week last week. The extra rest should help Cameron. He should be a good start against a weak Tennessee Titans team.

5 RBs $5,500 And Less To Make You One Million Dollars Richer

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

It's almost here -www.FFChamps.com/million - there's still time to get your lineups in but kickoff is fast approaching. Signup is easy, you will construct the best roster you can under the $50,000 salary cap and make your Sunday even more enjoyable. There are endless ways you can choose your team and plenty of options for each position, the possibilities can be overwhelming. What do you do when you just don't have enough space to fit in all the players you want?

Value shopping will take you far in tournaments such as this one - www.FFChamps.com/million. Some get mesmerized by all the higher priced options and can't move past them. If you take the time to go through each position at the lower salary ranges, you'll be surprised at what you can sometimes find. This week, there are several such players at the RB question that present a tremendous value opportunity. In the interest of saving you some time, here are 5 RBs, all at $5,500 or less to help you build your team:

  • Rashad Jennings, NYG $5,500. Jennings has been receiving a huge workload for Big Blue, with 81 rushing attempts and 11 targets through the air. Their opponent this Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons, have given up some huge games on the ground this year.
  • Frank Gore, SF $5,200. The more they try to limit his workload, the harder he runs. 174 combined yards vs. Philly last week, may be entering one of his zones. The Chiefs are coming in off their MNF mauling of the Pats, expect them to come back to earth.
  • Darren Sproles, PHI $5,100. A steal for the Eagles and a steal at this price. Brings more to the table than Lesean McCoy has this year and a whole lot cheaper, he's golden on a full PPR site.
  • Bishop Sankey, TEN $4,700. Expected to receive a bigger workload going forward, won't be long before he's the clear #1. 5.1 yard rushing average in limited action, time to take the training wheels off.
  • Ahmad Bradshaw, IND $4,000. Also golden for full PPR sites, Bradshaw has hauled in 4 TDs through the air thus far. A multi-purpose back at a bottom barrel price.

Take advantage of the pricing inefficiencies that are in front of you each week. These 5 RBs are affordable and should produce, freeing up valuable salary cap space to use elsewhere. Someone is taking home One Million Dollars - www.FFChamps.com/million, get your lineups in and get in the running. Good luck!

The Prince Who Got Busy And Helped You Win One Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

NY Giants CB Prince Amukamara is off to the best start of his young career, with 2 INTs in 4 games. Over his first 3 years in the league, Amukamara snagged only one in each year. What's behind the noticeable improvement? Teammate Antrel Rolle offered up an interesting take: "For one, he's married so he's...", Rolle offered up yesterday according to NJ.com. Amukamara, due to religious beliefs, had abstained from premarital sex. He was married earlier this year, and it sounds like Mr. and Mrs. Amukamara have found their groove.

The Giants welcome the Atlanta Falcons to MetLife Stadium for a 1pm kickoff. The Giants, much improved from a rough start to the year, are 2-2 and coming off an impressive 45-14 win over Washington. The G-men have also had an extended break as their Week 4 contest was a Thursday Night affair. Atlanta stands at 2-2 and have been inconsistent to start the year. A 56-14 drubbing of the Tampa Bay Bucs was followed by last week's disappointing 41-28 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Vegas has the line pegged at 50 1/2 with NY a 4 point favorite.

Defying conventional wisdom, is it possible the NYG DST, at $2,400, could be a strong play in this www.FFChamps.com/million? A few reasons it may not be that crazy:

  • Turnovers. The Giants are tied for the league lead in INTs with 7. Atlanta QB Matt Ryan has thrown 5 through 4 games.
  • Rest and improvement. NY has reeled off 2 straight wins following 2 losses to open the year. The team has played much better, and it was on full display in a primetime Thursday Night thrashing of Washington.
  • Series history. Both recent matchups of the two squads have resulted in one-sided blowouts. In a January 2012 Wild Card game at MetLife, the G-men manhandled the Falcons 24-2. Flash forward to the following season, Atlanta returned the favor by blowing the Giants out of the Georgia Dome 34-0.

Definitely outside of the box to consider playing a DST from one of the games with a high o/u. On the other hand, going against the grain can sometimes pay handsome dividends. Be sure to get your lineups set -  www.FFChamps.com/million - someone is taking home ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

You Don't Have To Know Football To Win A Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

As you know by now you can win a million dollars playing Fantasy Football this week. It’s only $27 to play and the top 15,500 people will win money. First place will win the million dollars. Just go to www.FFChamps.com/million to sign up.

Some people won’t play because they claim they don’t know fantasy football well enough or don’t know anything about football. You don’t have to know a lot about football to win some money. So many people play the NCAA march madness bracket every year and not everyone knows a lot about college basketball. People guess on teams based on mascot, team jersey color, last name etc. People even win their office pools some years by just guessing. You could use the same method this weekend and win a bunch of money by doing so. Here are some methods you could use that could win you a MILLION DOLLARS!

  1. Almost everyone knows a couple players even without watching football. People see the commercials with Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Tom Brady in them. So you can pick players by people you see on commercials or players who hear other people talking about.

  2. You can pick a whole fantasy team based on picking an entire NFL team. Say you live in Pennsylvania, you can pick a whole team filled with Pittsburgh Steelers (they have a great matchup this weekend) or the Philadelphia Eagles. Or if you live in Texas you can pick the Dallas Cowboys. However, this method might not work that simply depending on how much the individual player costs. You only have $50,000 to spend to fill 9 positions.

  3. Ask someone you know who watches football for help when drafting a team. Ask a neighbor, family member or co-worker which players they like the most or who they would pick. Just be prepared to split the money with them!

  4. You can pick a team of just players that went to your favorite college.

  5. Maybe the simplest method is to pick players who have averaged the most points per game this year. You can also see which player is playing against a team that gives up the most fantasy points. Say, Philip Rivers, he only cost $7,000 this week and he has a great matchup versus the New York Jets who have given up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Philip Rivers Could Win You A Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

Philip Rivers might be a great play if you are looking for a good quarterback to start this week in the million dollar contest. What million dollar contest am I talking about you ask? Just go to www.FFCHAMPS.com/MILLION to sign up. Here is a quick rundown of how things work in the contest. You have to pick 9 starters all while staying within your $50,000 budget.  It’s just $27 to sign up and you could win a milion bucks.

Now back to Rivers. He has a great matchup this week versus the New York Jets. The Jets give up the 4th most points to opposing Quarterbacks. If you don’t count Week 1 when the Jets played the Oakland Raiders, then the Jets would be giving up the second most points to opposing quarterbacks.

Rivers costs only $7,000 this week, there are 15 quarterbacks ahead of Rivers that cost more. You don't want to buy the highest player at anyone one position. Rivers ranks 4th this year for fantasy points per game with 22 points a game (Carson Palmer also ranks ahead of him but I’m not counting him since he has only played one game). The game is also in San Diego where Rivers averages 28 points a game. He has thrown for 661 yards, 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions in his two home games so far this year. So I say start Rivers this week with confidence.

St. Louis, coming off of their bye week, travels to Philadelphia this week for a 1pm tilt with the Eagles. The Rams have struggled to open the year, but they have shown some improvement since the opening week debacle against the Minnestoa Vikings (A 34-6 loss). After rebounding with a 19-17 win in Week 2 at Tampa Bay, the Rams had control over the Cowboys in Week 3 but were unable to hold the lead, resulting in a 34-31 loss.Philadelphia comes in at 3-1 and looks to rebound from their 26-21 Week 4 loss to the SF 49ers.

Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced today that QB Austin Davis will make his 3rd consecutive start. Since taking over the starting job from an injured Shaun Hill, Davis sports a solid 72.3 completion percentage and 93.1 QB rating. In Week 3, Davis put up a healthy 25.98 fantasy points - promising numbers for a QB on a struggling team. Philly has struggled defending the pass, allowing 1,030 yards and 10 TDs so far this year, including a monstrous 427 yards and 3 TDs surrendered to Washington QB Kirk Cousins in Week 3.

Currently, the Eagles are a 7 point favorite with an o/u of 47 1/2. Expect the Eagles to be up early and for Davis to get plenty of opportuinties to air it out. Presents an intriguing, low-cost and possibly under the radar option for this week as you look to take down ONE MILLION DOLLARS. www.FFChamps.com/million

5 Reasons Why Tom Brady Won't Win You A Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

If you haven’t signed up to play our weekly fantasy football game this week, don’t worry there is still time. Just go to www.FFCHAMPS.COM/MILLION to sign up. There are good value plays out there to choose from, but one player I’m not picking is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Here are 5 reasons why:

  1. He has been playing awful this year. In the first 4 weeks of the season he has scored 12.26, 9.96, 12.66 and last night he scored only 7.36 points. Which is an average of 10.6 points a game. Scoring that low points a week won’t win you a million dollars.

  2. The Patriots are playing the the Cincinnati Bengals this week. The Bengals have been playing great so far this year. Some even have them as their AFC favorites. The Bengals are the 3rd toughest defense on opposing quarterback.

  3. Brady is worth too much money this week. With a price tag of $6,600, there are better options to choose from that are cheaper and could get you more points. Like Kirk Cousins who is worth $6,500. He is playing the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks can give up some points to the opposing quarterbacks. Here are some more cheap options you can pick, Austin Davis ($5,600 versus the Philadelphia Eagles), Ryan Fitzpatrick ($5,500 versus the Dallas Cowboys) and Brian Hoyer ($5,200 versus the Tennessee Titans).

  4. You can never trust Bill Belichick. He is known to bench players whenever he wants. Belichick could get tired of Tom Brady and decide its time to give Jimmy Garoppolo a shot at Quarterback.

  5. Do I even need 5 reasons why to not start Tom Brady this week? The 4 reasons I just listed are enough to show why Tom Brady won’t win you a million dollars this week.
