Can Jeremy Hill Win You A Cool Million Dollars?

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week you will again have one of the most exciting opportunities in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week!! When you open a new account at Draft Kings and make an initial deposit of $25 (or more), this week you will also receive a FREE $27 ENTRY into this week’s Millionaire Maker contest.  Simply go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

Jeremy Hill Could Be Your Key To $1,000,000 At Draft Kings This Week

The Bengals' starting running, Giovani Bernard, did not practice again this Thursday (Oct 30) due to various injuries including a hip issue and there are reports out there that he will not be playing this weekend.

What does this mean for us in daily fantasy over at Draft Kings?  Well the key to winning the big million dollar contests and the GPPs in general is to find those lower priced players that allow you to lock up the higher priced studs and then look for those lower guys to blow up.  Last week, the million dollar winner, Leav11, plugged in Brandon LaFell at $4,800, who promptly lit it up for 32.4 points.  Nice!!!

This is why this injury to Bernard could set up a great situation for us in Daily Fantasy.  Bernard's replacement is Jeremy Hill and he only costs $4,000 of our salary cap.  Against the Jaguars, Hill could be in for a huge, and I mean really huge, game.

Why you ask?

Well, let me list the reasons below:

- Just like Bernard, Hill is a pass catching RB, and Draft Kings is full point PPR.

- In games where he has seen significant action, weeks 2, 6 & 8, he is averaging 13.8 FFPG, not bad for playing only part of a game.

- Its likely that AJ Green will be back in action so even if they could, the Jaguars will not be able to stack the box to stop the run.

- If the Bengals get up early, which is entirely possible, they are going to simply run the ball down the Jaguars' throat.

- And finally the Jacksonville Jaguars defense is terrible.  They are giving up an average of 100 yards on the ground and are giving up the 4th most fantasy points to RBs in the passing game.

So, watch that injury report and confirm that Bernard will be on the bench and slot Jeremy Hill into your lineup preferably in your flex slot to give yourself some flexiblity (but RB2 is OK too), at only $4,000 Hill will allow you to target those higher priced players, like Gronk or TY Hilton or Demaryius Thomas or Tom Brady or even Peyton, that you want and need in your lineup to win the big money contests at Draft Kings.

Again, watch the Sunday morning active/inactive, if Bernard is indeed inactive or severly limited go ahead and relax and let Hill take you for a ride, if Bernard somehow makes it back and it looks like he will play at least somewhat, there are plenty of players in the $4,000 area who while they might not blow up are solid plays, one I can suggest is Darren Sproles at $4,100 and there are many others.

Good luck!

The Million Dollar Lineup: What Did Sam Do That I Didn't?

As I sat in the stands for the New England Patriots game Sunday night, a multi generational friends and family tradition for over fifty years, I was awestruck with the fact that I was competing in a weekend long fantasy football game to win one million dollars, www.FFChamps.com/million, at an expense of only twenty seven dollars.

I and most of the NFL fan base has bet on football and many more play in traditional fantasy football leagues with friends from various walks of life, sometimes for real money, meaning one hundred dollars to win one thousand dollars or five hundred bucks to win five thousand big ones. Yet, here I was, checking my iphone in the stands to see how I was faring to become a fantasy football millionaire and shaking my head as someone I do not know named Sam had seemingly locked up the one million dollar 1st place prize before the kick off of Patriots-Bengals on Sunday evening.

What did Sam do that I didn’t?

He played Peyton Manning and matched him with Demaryus Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, obvious picks with a smart strategy of creating tandems of players who both score points together. I did that too, with Tony Freaking Romo. Right idea, wrong guy! He played Arian Foster, and Antonio Gates, which were good choices that both delivered on this particular day. In order to finish first in Millionaire Maker, you need to pick some long shot, cheaper salary players and get them all right. Sam picked the Tate’s, Ben and Golden. I found myself wondering if he intentionally went with the dual Tate’s and if he did, why not include the Bengal’s Brandon Tate. He hit it out of the park with Golden Tate, who literally paved the golden road to his million dollar prize.

In hindsight, that was smart as Detroit was due to have a big game and Megatron was injured. Why didn’t I think of that? It seems as logical as my pick of Steve Smith last weekend when he faced his old Carolina team. We both had the Chargers defense, a good pick vs.Geno “I skipped the Saturday night team meeting to go to the movies” Smith. He rounded out his picks with Cowboy’s WR Terence Williams, whom I had as well.

Sam’s lineup was good but not that earth shattering. Was it lucky? Sure, there is some element of luck as well as skill when picking a fantasy football lineup and certainly luck that every domino falls perfectly together.  Until this past weekend one could not win one million dollars playing anything but the lottery and the odds to win one million in Power Ball are 1/5,153,632.65.  The odds in Millionaire Maker were 1/92,400 to win the million and one out of six h to win money. If you finished fifteen thousand four hundredth it paid out forty dollars.

To win a million betting on football in Vegas requires a bet of one million dollars, reserved for the likes of junkies like Michael Jordan. Yet now, for twenty seven dollars, the price of a few quick picks, I can play fantasy football and have a shot at winning a massive pile of money. I plan to go to www.FFChamps.com/million,  and play again this weekend, as you guessed it, there is a second chance for NFL week six and I am going to win it! Or not! Fantasy football has found a new home, and the only part of it I do not like is that it has rendered my traditional leagues a lot less exciting. Then again, who needs a night of Patron shots?

Lions Injury Woes Could Be Key To One Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

The Detroit Lions welcome the Buffalo Bills this Sunday to Ford Field for a 1pm kickoff. The Lions' record stands at 3-1 following Week 4's 24-17 win over the New York Jets. Buffalo looks to get back on track following 2 straight losses which brought them to 2-2 on the year. Vegas has Detroit as a 6 1/2 point favorite with an o/u of 44.

Two big injury concerns for the Lions heading into the game. RB Joique Bell has been ruled out due to a concussion, and WR Calvin Johnson is questionable due to an ankle injury but expected to play. Megatron was mainly used as a decoy last week, putting up a pedestrian 2/12/0 line.

Buffalo has been pretty strong against the run so far, holding opponents to 286 yards and 0 TDs. Their Pass D has been a mixed bag, allowing 1,065 yards and 6 TDs while forcing 5 INTs. Detroit has been pretty heavily weighted to the passing game, with a split of 148/113 in pass to rush attempts. QB Matthew Stafford currently sits at 4th in the league with 1,176 yards, but his 5 TDs on the year have to be considered a disappointment. The run game has not produced much for the Lions with 349 yards, however they do have 4 TDs on the ground.

This Sunday brings the chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS - www.FFChamps.com/million. Players with more opportunities - i.e. targets and touches - provide better upside, which is what we are looking for to put us in the best position to make some cash. The Lions' injury woes present 3 such candidates, listed below with salary for the week.

  • RB Reggie Bush, $6,200. Bush and Bell have been pretty even so far in production, with Bell seeing more opportunites on the ground while Bush receives more targets through the air. Bell being out opens up even more opportunity for Bush, a heavy workload is a given it's just a matter of production at this point.
  • WR Golden Tate, $4,900. With Johnson banged up, Tate put up his biggest line of the year last week - 8/116/0. His 11 targets were also a season high, look for that trend to continue Sunday.
  • TE Eric Ebron, $3,000. At a bargain basement price, Ebron could see some red zone targets this week. He found the end zone for the 1st time last week, could be the confidence boost he needs to start making some noise.

As always, monitor the injury reports for news on Johnson. Get your lineups set - www.FFChamps.com/million - this week is going to be epic.

5 Minimum Priced WRs To Consider For One Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

An incredible opportunity is on the table for this week's games. The chance to win ONE MILLION DOLLARS is very real, anticipation has been continually building. The waiting is almost over, if you haven't already entered your lineups in there is still time www.FFChamps.com/million.

There are plenty of ways to attack roster construction. Prefer the stud RBs? Love slot receivers that receive a ton of targets? Willing to pay up for a top QB? Or do you prefer to find the best value at QB? Whichever way you choose, just remember that there is always a ton of value on the board if you're willing to dig a little deep. In the interest of saving you some time, here are 5 WR candidates priced at the minimum salary, $3,000:

  • Jerricho Cotchery, CAR. Solid 5/80/0 last week on 7 targets. Good hands and a reliable target, the more attention that gets paid to teammate Kelvin Benjamin, the more targets he may see. However, could get lost in the shuffle as Benjamin and TE Greg Olsen receive bulk of targets.
  • Malcolm Floyd, SD. 15/187/2 on the year, receives his share of targets. Downside is teammate Keenan Allen awoke from his slumber last week and may continue to be the focal point.
  • Brandon Lafell, NE. One of the few bright spots for the Pats from the MNF debacle - 6/119/1 - could be more involved going forward. Downside is that outside of Julius Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, it's near impossible to predict NE targets and touches.
  • Kenny Britt, STL. Had his best game of the year prior to the Rams bye week - 5/69/0, could be a sign he will be receiving a bigger workload. The talent has always been there, it's just a question of if he can put it together.
  • Allen Robinson, JAX. Robinson leads the Jags in targets with 26, in game with an o/u of 47 1/2 and Pittsburgh favored by 6, Robinson should see plenty of work. Downside is that he has not found the end zone yet this year, perhaps that streak comes to an end.

Five candidates to consider that will not eat up a lot of cap space, if you spend $3k here you will have $47k left to build out your roster. Upside and downside for all 5, but worth considering to free up some space. Get your lineups in - www.FFChamps.com/million - someone is going to make ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

Week 5 Injury Update That Could Cost You A Million Dollars

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

If you have been read anything this week on Football Nation, then you know there is a great contest going on. It's a million dollar one week fantasy football contest. Just go to FFchamps.com/million to sign up. One mistake people do when drafting players is not to look at the injury updates. Sometimes people set their rosters at the beginning of the week and then let it go. A good thing is to always check the injury report every day. Sometimes a player gets hurt in practice and will miss the game. It's good to know who’s hurt and who’s the fill in. With the million dollar contest you have a set budget to spend, which is $50,000. Sometimes a late fill in starter is really cheap and could help you win. Here are a few injuries to keep your eye on this weekend that could win you or cost you a million dollars. (Players salaries in quotation marks)

Calvin Johnson ($8,200) - Calvin is the highest priced wide receiver this week. He has been hobbled by an ankle injury. He played only 33 snaps last week with the ankle injury. Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell hinted that if the ankle doesn’t get better by Sunday, Johnson could sit out the game.

Golden Tate ($4,900) - Tate popped up on the injury report following Thursday's practice. It seems to be a hamstring problem, but he seems to be okay to play Sunday. If Calvin Johnson does miss Sunday’s game Tate could be a good play at only $4,900.

Arian Foster ($7,400) - Foster missed the Week 3 game with an ankle injury. Though he did play Week 4 versus the Buffalo Bills, he only rushed the ball 8 times. Foster split carries with Alfred Blue last week and if Foster plays this week we could be expecting the same result. If Foster does miss the game this week expect a bigger role for Alfred Blue. This week Blue is worth only $3,000 and in the Week 3 game that Foster missed, Blue rushed the ball for 78 yards.

Carson Palmer ($7,200) - Palmer has not played since Week 1 with a shoulder injury. It looks like he will miss the game. Expect Drew Stanton to remain the starter in Palmers absent.

Jonathan Stewart (3,000) and Deangelo Williams ($3,500) - Stewart is listed as doubtful for this week's game with a knee injury. Deangelo Williams has already been ruled out this week. So with Williams out and Stewart most likely missing the game, expect a running back by committee this week for the Carolina Panthers. I wouldn’t pick up a Panther running back this week hoping to win a million dollars, but if you had to I would say pick up Darrin Reaves ($3,000)

Niles Paul ($5,100) and Jordan Reed ($3,600) - Reed, who has been out since Week 1, has a chance to return this week versus the Seattle Seahawks. Reed’s teammate Niles Paul looks to be a question mark after suffering a concussion last week versus the New York Giants. The game is a Monday night game, so I would try to stay away from these two if at all possible. If you are looking to pick up someone this week around the same price range I would suggest Heath Miller ($4,000) and Zach Ertz ($3,800). Miller has a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars give up the most points to the tight ends this year.

Vernon Davis ($4,900) - Davis was a question mark last week with a ankle and knee injury. Then in last week's game against the Eagles he suffered a back injury. He has not practiced all week. It looks like Davis will miss the game.

Joique Bell ($5,600) and Theo Reddick ($3,000) - They both have been ruled out so look for a lot of Reggie Bush ($6,200). If Calvin sits out too, look for Bush to get it done on the ground and through the air.

Eric Decker ($4,800) - Decker has been bothered by a hamstring injury for awhile. I would stay away from him even if he does play.

Andre Johnson ($6,400) - Johnson is listed as questionable. It looks like Johnson will play, but if Johnson does sit out, DeAndre Hopkins ($4,800) could be in for a big game being the Houston Texans number one receiver.

Ben Tate ($5,000) - Tate was trying to come back this week but it looks like he might not play. He is going to test his knee on Saturday to see if he is okay. If Tate is out look for Terrance West ($4,100) and Isaiah Crowell ($3,400) to split carries.

Cecil Shorts ($4,600) and Marqise Lee ($3,200) - Both Shorts and Lee will miss this weekend's game. Look for Week 1 star Allen Hurns ($4,500) and Allen Robinson ($3,000) to be the two starting wide receivers.

Jordan Cameron ($4,400) - Cameron has been hurt by a shoulder injury all year. The Cleveland Browns had a bye week last week. The extra rest should help Cameron. He should be a good start against a weak Tennessee Titans team.

High-Scoring Games To Key On For A Chance At One Million

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

When playing in a salary cap style tournament such as this one - www.FFChamps.com/million, research can sometimes be overwhelming. There are so many players to choose from and each game represents an intriguing scenario. Do you search for the players who have been on fire all year? Look for games where one (or both) sides can't play defense to save their lives? So many options every week, it's really easy to get frustrated and not know where to begin. Relax, take a deep breath, and read on.

Luckily, a lot of the research has been done for us already. How is that? Las Vegas. The sportsbooks in Vegas set lines for each matchup, and used correctly they can save you a ton of time. The boys from Vegas are sharp, they know their stuff, and provide an awesome starting point each week. I always start the week by checking out the lines and noting any games that look potentially to be high scoring. If a game has an over/under set at greater than or equal to 48, I make a special mental note on that one, it could be a great source of points for the week.

This week, we have 4 such games that fit the bill:

  • ATL @ NYG, NYG -4, o/u 50. The Giants have turned it around after a rough start, showing the nation that their offense is alive and well on TNF last week. Atlanta has been inconsistent to start, but they also have a full range of weapons at their disposal, as demonstrated in Week 3's 56-14 demolition of Tampa Bay at the Georgia Dome.
  • TB @ NO, NO -10, 48 1/2. Drew Brees and the Saints look to get back on track against the same Tampa Bay Bucs (also in a dome...). The Saints offense has not been its usual explosive self, could be a great week for it to get back on track. The Bucs will probably be playing catch-up, which could bode well for the passing game.
  • BAL @ IND, IND - 3 1/2, 49. Both teams come in off of huge performances in Week 4. The Ravens rolled over Carolina 38-10, while the Colts dispatched the Titans 41-17. Looks like a great spot for both Offenses, and the line actually opened at o/u 46 1/2 - a full 2 1/2 point move to the current 49.
  • AZ @ DEN, DEN - 7 1/2, 48. Not much needs to be said about Peyton Manning and the Broncos Offense, but I think it's important to note they are coming in off of their bye week. Arizona comes in at 3-0 and also off the bye, they have been impressive all year and will be looking to make a statement. Could be a surprising shootout.

Four games, and a bunch of possibilities from each. Does that mean you just load up on players from these games and be done with it? Not necessarily, but it gives you some great options as your building out your roster. Stuck on 2 players? Is one of them from the 4 games listed above? Your choice just got a whole lot easier.

This week is setting up to be epic, someone is walking away with ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Get your lineups in - www.FFChamps.com/million - and good luck!

5 RBs $5,500 And Less To Make You One Million Dollars Richer

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

It's almost here -www.FFChamps.com/million - there's still time to get your lineups in but kickoff is fast approaching. Signup is easy, you will construct the best roster you can under the $50,000 salary cap and make your Sunday even more enjoyable. There are endless ways you can choose your team and plenty of options for each position, the possibilities can be overwhelming. What do you do when you just don't have enough space to fit in all the players you want?

Value shopping will take you far in tournaments such as this one - www.FFChamps.com/million. Some get mesmerized by all the higher priced options and can't move past them. If you take the time to go through each position at the lower salary ranges, you'll be surprised at what you can sometimes find. This week, there are several such players at the RB question that present a tremendous value opportunity. In the interest of saving you some time, here are 5 RBs, all at $5,500 or less to help you build your team:

  • Rashad Jennings, NYG $5,500. Jennings has been receiving a huge workload for Big Blue, with 81 rushing attempts and 11 targets through the air. Their opponent this Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons, have given up some huge games on the ground this year.
  • Frank Gore, SF $5,200. The more they try to limit his workload, the harder he runs. 174 combined yards vs. Philly last week, may be entering one of his zones. The Chiefs are coming in off their MNF mauling of the Pats, expect them to come back to earth.
  • Darren Sproles, PHI $5,100. A steal for the Eagles and a steal at this price. Brings more to the table than Lesean McCoy has this year and a whole lot cheaper, he's golden on a full PPR site.
  • Bishop Sankey, TEN $4,700. Expected to receive a bigger workload going forward, won't be long before he's the clear #1. 5.1 yard rushing average in limited action, time to take the training wheels off.
  • Ahmad Bradshaw, IND $4,000. Also golden for full PPR sites, Bradshaw has hauled in 4 TDs through the air thus far. A multi-purpose back at a bottom barrel price.

Take advantage of the pricing inefficiencies that are in front of you each week. These 5 RBs are affordable and should produce, freeing up valuable salary cap space to use elsewhere. Someone is taking home One Million Dollars - www.FFChamps.com/million, get your lineups in and get in the running. Good luck!

5 QBs Under $6,000 That Could Make You One Million

Do you play Fantasy Football? If the answer is yes, this week is the most exciting opportunity in the history of the game. Win a MILLION DOLLARS playing Fantasy Football this week only! Go to www.FFChamps.com/million and get in on the action.

The 1pm kickoffs can't come fast enough and this week is especially exciting - www.FFChamps.com/million. Someone is walking away with One Million Dollars for playing Fantasy Football. An incredible time to be a fan and Fantasy Player, this is a huge opportunity to make some serious cash doing something you love.

Roster construction can take many forms. You can use a balanced approach, allocating the 50k salary cap pretty evenly across positions. You could load up on stud RBs and find value elsewhere, or perhaps big time WRs are your thing. The possibilities are endless, and that just adds to the enjoyment and excitement. No matter which strategy you choose, it's critical to nail your QB. A horrible day from your QB almost certainly spells disaster.

Some people like safety in their QB and who can blame them. Consistent production and a shot at a great day can be a winning recipe. On the other hand, spotting a value priced QB who may be a little risky could provide the upside you need to separate your roster from the rest. Either way, find your comfort zone and choose the QB you think gives you the best shot at taking it down. For those that are willing to take their chance at greatness with an against the grain QB, we present 5 inexpensive QBs to take a look at:

  • Austin Davis, Stl. $5,600. The Rams travel to Philly for a game they will probably lose. However, consider a few factors in play here: 1. Davis was just named starter for remainder of year, should boost the confidence. 2. The Rams are coming off the bye. Rough start for the Rams, but HC Jeff Fisher has had some extra time to get the house in order. 3. The Eagles have allowed 10 TDs through the air so far, if they are up as expected it could bode well for Davis and the passing game.

  • Ryan Fitzpatrick, Hou. $5,500. Fitz and the Texans travel to Dallas this week. The Cowboys have actually played better than expected on D of late, but can still be beat through the air - 8 TDs allowed on the year. A 47 o/u, Fitz may have some time to throw if the 'Boys key in on stopping Arian Foster and the running game.

  • Mike Glennon, TB. $5,500.Everyone is expecting the Bucs to get killed when they play the Saints, and they very well may. On the other hand, the Saints D has been a shell of what it was last year. An o/u of 48 and the Saints a 10 point favorite could be pointing to a lot of yardage for Glenning and co. as they play catch up.

  • Brian Hoyer, Cle. $5,200. Has held off Johnny Manziel so far and brings a 97.5 QB rating into the game. Not going to set the world on fire, but the Titans are coming off giving up 393 yards and 4 TDs to Andrew Luck and the Colts. Hoyer is no Luck on this or any other planet, but could make a little noise at a cheap price.

  • Drew Stanton, AZ. $5,000. Statement game for the Cards as they travel to Denver to face the Broncos. Both teams are coming in off their bye week for a late afternoon kickoff. An o/u set at 48, this one could be pretty entertaining and the Cards could surprise some folks.

Plenty of options on the board, all the way from high-priced studs to low cost value plays. Choose the startegy you feel best with, get your lineups in - www.FFChamps.com/million - and good luck!
