Cleveland made some big moves in the 2014 NFL Draft, one of which was trading up with their second first round selection to acquire phenom quarterback Johnny Manziel out of Texas A&M University.  Manziel was a beast on the field during his tenure at Texas A&M, and entering the draft, he was the most discussed pick in the first round.  The discussion was over which team would draft him, and which teams would be the perfect fit for his abilities on the field, ranging from the Dallas Cowboys to the New York Jets.

Brian Hoyer was injured early on last season, so the Browns needed to add a high quality backup to their roster, in the event that Hoyer should go down again this season, or if his performance failed to meet the Browns expectations from their starting quarterback.  Manziel was the perfect fit for Kyle Shanahan's offense out of the quarterbacks available with said pick.

Detroit welcomes the Buffalo Bills this week for a 1pm kickoff. Buffalo comes in at 2-2 on the year following last week's 23-17 loss to the Houston Texans. Detroit stands at 3-1, having dispatched of the New York Jets 24-17 in Week 4.

Ebron saw increased action last week with starting TE Joseph Fauria out due to an ankle injury. The rookie finished the day with a line of 3/34/1 on 4 targets. Encouraging signs for the rookie, he could continue to see a decent amount of looks if Fauria remains out. Ebron's salary this week is a paltry $3,000. Just by matching last week's production, his point total will be 12.4. In a salary cap tournament structure with a $50,000 salary cap such as this one -  www.FFChamps.com/million - you will need players that can at a minimum provide 4x value.

What does this mean? For each $1,000 in salary cap you spend, you need to expect a return of 4. So for a $50,000 salary cap, you're setting a base of 200 points. Will 200 points mean that you win? Earlier this afternoon LaMichael James joined the Miami Dolphins in what will be a little more of a crowded backfield once Knowshon Moreno gets back.  Having spent time on the bench behind Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde, there wasn't much promise for James with the San Francisco 49ers.  Now with the Dolphins it's possible for James to get more playing time (ANY playing time would be an upgrade to what he was getting in San Francisco), even if it's just to give Lamar Miller and Moreno a breather. Earlier this week, Joseph Fauria, TE for the Detroit Lions who did not play last week, revealed that he sprained his ankle chasing Lil' Rufio, his 3-month-old Pomeranian/Husky mix puppy, while trying to house-train him.  It didn't end well as Fauria slipped and ended up straining his ankle.  The severity of the injury was not released and his status for this week is still up in the air.

Well, last Sunday,with Fauria sidelined, Detroits #1 draft pick, Eric Ebron, saw increased action and responded by catching 3 of 4 targets for 34 yards and a touchdown, delivering 12.4 fantasy points.  

If Fauria is inactive again this week, versus a Bills defense ranked 22nd against TEs (in week one they allowed 21 fantasy points to Bears TE, Martellus Bennet) and should Detroit's Stud WR(Calvin Johnson) continue to be less than 100%, Ebron should continue to see increased action and become a bigger target for Matthew Stafford.

At $3,000, he would be a definite steal in the TE slot!  His low salary will also let you stock up on other stud players and bring your lineup to victory!

If you are able to make this play and Ebron delivers as expect, you might just be thanking a little 3-month-old puppy for helping you take home the $1,000,000.

So keep your eye on the injury report and active/inactive list.  On Sunday morning (remember you can swap out players right up until kickoff), if Fauria is a no go and Calvin is still not 100%, slap Ebron in at TE and use any extra salary cap room to upgrade at another position.  It could be your road to a $1,000,000 victory.

Rumors have been swirling on Michigan's interest in Harbaugh for their HC slot and vice versa. Several 49ers players have spoken up in defense of their HC, sounds like a locker room that just wants to take care of business and tune out the noise. Several factors in play here, the SF 49ers present several intriguing options as you build your ONE MILLION DOLLAR lineup:

• QB Colin Kaepernick, $7,800. The dual-threat QB is coming off of a strong game vs. Philly, will look to keep it rolling this week.

• RB Frank Gore, $5,200. Does this man age? The more they try to phase him out, the harder he runs.

Earlier this afternoon LaMichael James joined the Miami Dolphins in what will be a little more of a crowded backfield once Knowshon Moreno gets back.  Having spent time on the bench behind Frank Gore and Carlos Hyde, there wasn't much promise for James with the San Francisco 49ers.  Now with the Dolphins it's possible for James to get more playing time (ANY playing time would be an upgrade to what he was getting in San Francisco), even if it's just to give Lamar Miller and Moreno a breather.
